Advanced Mapping
Advanced Mapping needs to be enabled in ExFlow Setup.
Advanced Mapping Field Setup
To use Advanced Mapping with imported fields they must be populated in Advanced Mapping Field Setup. There, users can select which fields they need to capture with import.
When fields have been selected they can be used in Advanced Mapping.
How to use Advanced Mapping
Advanced Mapping can be searched in BC or used directly in the ExFlow Import Journal. The most convenient way to use it is through the journal.
Create New Advanced Mapping
If mapping doesn't exist the user can create it in the journal. Fields that are shown there are the fields that were selected in the Field Setup above.
This is where users can choose which values are added to mapping.
The fields below are the values that can be captured and if they are captured they should be mapped to the values above (Vendor, G/L account etc.).
I.e. if the value 1150 from the Original No. field is captured it should be mapped to a certain G/L Account for this specific vendor.
In order for this value to be added to the Advanced Mapping, user needs to enable the Use Field for this mapping.
There are multiple functionalities to the Advanced Mapping in addition to the standard mapping.
Add dimensions on lines
Add fixed description on all lines ####
Recalculate VAT for header and lines if VAT should not be applied
Only use mapping for header ####
Show Advanced Mapping Card
If mapping is incorrect or needs to be modified it can be opened in the journal by clicking the Mapping No. and the Advanced Mapping Card opens.
